Ignite the spark of creativity in schools, on a budget.
I'm Dom, Director of Performant Solutions Limited - a service that aims to transform music departments by providing students with the opportunity to experience industry-standard audio equipment, giving them a clear, more exciting picture of what a career as a musician can entail.
Children should come away from their studies with professional-sounding portfolios (composition and recording), tangible skills in production and engineering (use of hardware and DAWs) and great opportunities to refine their levels of performance.
Chaotic classrooms filled with equipment not fit for purpose could be preventing your staff and students from experiencing the true excitement of music.
How can we help?
An Initial Departmental Report provides the opportunity to visit your school, meet with staff & students to generate a vision of how we might work together to transform your music department and includes the following services:
an inventory of existing resources such as music equipment including an assessment of their value towards the curriculum, condition and potential income from resale,
a written proposal for departmental renovation including projected cost, timescale and an outline of floor plan/space available,
real examples of potential fundraising opportunities and any other relevant information that might suit your school's personalised needs.
How much will this cost?
We appreciate that budgets in education can be limiting, so we've kept the cost of our Initial Departmental Report low. From there, if you wish to proceed we can support and implement your departmental renovation. You will only pay for the time in which you require our services. These include, but are not limited to:
liaising with local charitable funds and individuals, including support with grant applications,
facilitating the sale of old resources, as well as the purchase and installation of new products.
providing ongoing technical support for newly acquired equipment,
delivering staff education on the latest software and hardware,
arranging visits from industry professionals to engage and inspire young creatives,
planning lessons which align up-to-date resources, school ethos and the national curriculum.
